The essential fatty acids in Dermacomfort are necessary to
keep your pet’s skin and coat healthy. Dogs and cats that are
fed ultra low-fat diets may develop dry, coarse hair and skin
lesions, that become increasingly vulnerable to infection.
Dermacomfort's comprehensive formula is rich in Omega 3-6-
9 from Cold-Pressed Flaxseed Oil and Hemp Seed Oil plus
liquid Vitamin E with high bioavailability, delivering the right
nutrients to provide a wide range of health benefits for pets.
Dermacomfort supplies essential fatty acids that cannot be
synthesized in the body. These play a role in cell structure
and function to maintain healthy skin and coat. Dermacomfort
is high in Omega 3 (Alpha Linolenic Acid) from Cold Pressed
Flaxseed Oil, with anti-inflammatory properties to help
protect skin and coat condition. Dietary Omega 3 poly
unsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) from Flaxseed Oil decreases
the skins inflammatory response to
histamine to the same extent as fish oil
(Chew et al., 2000). Histamine has a
central role as a mediator of itching and
is involved in the inflammatory response.
This premium fatty acid profile also
contains Omega 6 (Linoleic Acid) from
both Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil and
Hemp Seed Oil that helps nourish your
pet’s skin and coat, supporting healthy
skin and a shiny coat. Whilst Vitamin E
provides a defence against oxidative
damage to the skin and coat.
Adding Dermacomfort to your dog or
cats food may enhance the taste and
texture of their pet food. This product
also can be applied to the itchy skin area
topically 1-3 times daily.
